Merkaz Mosdos Chinuch

The Center for Educational Institutions in Israel - Merkaz Mosdos Chinuch, runs an array of educational institutions in Israel. We are dedicated to providing a healthy learning environment and Jewish education to over 1,000 students currently in our care.

Cheder Chabad Elementary School: We operate a primary school in the city of Lod for ages 5-13, where we currently have over 300 students enrolled.

Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim: This Yeshivah for Rabbinical studies operates in two locations. Our High School level classes, and dormitories for Boys aged 13-16, are located in Lod (450 students). The Yeshivah College for Higher Rabbinical Education and its dormitories for Students ages 17-20 are located in the village of Kfar Chabad (over 200 students). Study at our Yeshivos is fully accredited and many will go on to receive their Rabbinical Ordination. Our Yeshivos draw students from all over Israel, and are widely acclaimed for our incredible faculty, and the high level of learning.

Beit Sefer Lemlacha – Chabad Lubavitch Vocational School: Located in Kfar Chabad: The vocational school provides a meaningful Jewish education side by side with vocational training for the 95 students currently enrolled. These boys come from religious backgrounds but do not find their place in the mainstream Yeshivos. Instead of them being sidelined G‑d forbid, they are empowered, receive the real world tools that they need for life, and become respectable members of their respective communities.

We have been operating for over 65 years, and countless students have passed through our care. We have a policy in which we never turn a student away for lack of funds. Many of our students come from low-income families, and thanks to the generosity of our supporters they are afforded a part or full scholarship.

An estimated 30% of Chabad Lubavitch Shluchim the world-over are graduates of our schools. Having completed their studies they have gone on to become leaders of Jewish communities around the world, bringing the warmth of Judaism to the thousands of lives that they touch.

We encourage you to take part in supporting our vital work. Jewish education is the key to Jewish continuity, please do your part in keeping the flame of Judaism burning strong.
